My name is Cassi Mason. I am a mother of two biological children & step mother to two daughters. I am the wife of my very best friend, Robert Mason. We  have been married for 10 years. We aspire to be a mostly holistic family. 


We love all things outdoors. Fishing, hiking, camping  and many other things. I am a child of God and my faith is a big part of who I am. We are a loud and busy family. The older girls are in sports and the smaller kiddos do homeschooling.


My husband is the direct care director at the Teen Challenge Adventure Ranch in Morrow AR. We also all love those little popcorn tins that have different kinds of popcorn flavors (I know that's a little silly, but it seems important to share). As a mother, my family is a big part of who I am and often is what inspires certain areas of my midwifery practice. I am often laughing at myself over something silly but I think that is an important trait to have.


I love expecting mothers. Watching parents just find out they're pregnant, and follow them to  their (unknowingly) last appointment saying “I’m never going to have this baby am I”?? That is quite possibly one of my favorite memories. I love the moments when husbands see their wife go through the toughest marathon in her life, and cry tears of relief when it's over and everyone is safely earthside (goosebumps)!!


My very most favorite thing of all though is coming home from a long birth and having the kids run up and give kisses and hugs and everyone asking  “How are they? How was the birth? How much did the baby weigh?” It feels like they are almost as invested in these families as I am. In a way they are because they are sharing me all the time, with a ton of different families and I am forever grateful for that. Oh how I love this crazy and hectic life!!

I am a Licensed lay midwife (in AR)  and Certified Professional Midwife (recognized nationally). I am  serving the homebirth community. I love helping families prepare their sacred space for a new member to join. Each birth is so different and a blessing to be  a part of. Each pregnancy deserves individualized care. 

My passion is to be able to change the statistics in birth. I want women to regain dignity over their bodies during the  birth process. Birth is sacred, raw and powerful. Birth is something that needs to be un medicalized. Women deserve the right to know what is happening to their bodies and to  have informed consent.
